FFF6

Grabbed this shot waiting for Tim to get out of work.  I reeeally like it.  Finding interesting things on the street.

I've baked like 200% more than I used to.  Well, at least in the winter and spring.  Summer got too hot since the apt felt like an oven!

Have you mailed a smile today?  :D  Second round of Pixar stamps.  I still haven't used them yet.  I think I enthusiastically bought too many of the first round ones.   :oP

I believe this was the day I traded writing favors for an iced coffee with a co-worker.  This is how we roll.

Front porch.  After the rain.  Beauty in everyday life.

2nd Anniversary Cruise! Part 3

So I decided I should finish this cruise series before it became our 3rd anniversary.  Plus.  I'm suppose to be doing something else that's homework-esque so of course I'm going to go blog instead.  :)

If you've missed it... you can catch Part 1 here and Part 2 here!

Fish tail!

Check out their SAINT JOHN sign.  Just like Hollywood.

We loved our wicker basket alcove!

This is Petunia

Welcome to Mexican Buffet!  This was the midnight 11:30pm buffet!  Whoo!

The spread.  To Tim's heart's content, of course.

GIANT Indian head

Why are there Indians at the Mexican buffet?

Towel folding class!!!

Heheh check out our new friends!

Tim's elephant didn't do as well...

My beloved Bahama Mama!

Yes, I ordered fried chicken  :oP

Our awesome wait staff!

LOL.  Worse plating job ever?

We think they're penguins... what do you think?  Penguin ghosts?

And... that wraps up my 10th and Tim's first cruise!  Whoo hoo!  My dear husband unfortunately has developed a kind of landsickness that has persisted so.... I don't know if we'll be going on any more cruises anytime soon!  :(  But I still highly recommend them.  :)  In general.

This Carnival cruise, in my humble opinion, was a little lacking in terms of quality of food.  Service was okay and the loud, large families, smoking, beer-in-a-bucket-toting folks were not as exciting to be around.  But for the great deal we got -- they're the catch that came with our deal.  You get what you pay for.  :oT  I think it was a good first cruise experience for Tim and I enjoyed enjoying it with him!  :)

Have you been on a cruise?  Did you like it?

FFF5

Playing bass at church!

Anniversary dinner at Russell House TavernHarpoon cider is DELICIOUS.  And Harpoon is local!

I had scallops.  Three of them to be exact.

Tim had steak frites.  Much more substantial.  Than three scallops.

2nd Anniversary Cruise! Part 2

Continuing our adventures from our 2nd Anniversary Cruise...

Our one and only port, St. John, New Brunswick!

They like them moose

Fakey lighthouse

City Market!

It was a neat indoor market place.   But we only walked through it.

King's Square

Someone put soap in the beaver fountain.  Bwahah.

There wasn't much to take pictures of so I took this picture of the firemen driving by.  The one in the back window probably thinks I'm really weird.  But it's okay.  I will NEVER see them again.  :oP

Trinity Church

St. Andrew and St. David Church. I guess they couldn't pick just one :oP

ARRET!

Our ship!

Bye bye St. John!

2nd Anniversary Cruise! Part 1

At least it's not our third anniversary before I got around to posting this right?  :)

So for our anniversary this year, we went on a cruise!  It was a short cruise on Carnival Cruises up to Canada!  We picked this one since it departed and returned to Boston so we didn't need to take any flights!

It was a great break from work and everyday life, though it was, of course, too short.  :)  It was also too bad there was only one port/stop and it wasn't the most interesting little town.  :oP

Our little windowless cabin

We did this a lot.  Read.  :)

Ice carving!

There were towel animals!  We named him Philbert.

Cocktails were to be had

Lobster tail!

The theater with nightly shows

Our favorite little reading spot

This was Tweedums

24-Hour Pizza bar!  (Sorry blurry pic)

Next up, we get to St. John, New Brunswich, Canada!
